Armen J. Simonian, MD
Dr. Armen Simonian attended Wake Forest University in North Carolina and University of Richmond in Virginia for his undergraduate studies before going to UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Camden, N.J., for his medical degree. He completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and a Fellowship in Gastroenterology and Liver Diseases at Cooper Hospital/University Medical Center. Dr. Simonian holds his New Jersey medical license, is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and is a diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners. He has been the Chief of the Section of Gastroenterology for the last 8 years at Capital Health Systems, Trenton, N.J., and is the current Chairman for the Department of Medicine.
